Q: Does Maverick Homes have stock or pre priced plans?
A: No, we are a true custom home builder. We work with each of our potential clients to find a plan that meets their needs or we design one from scratch.
Q: What type of heating systems do you use?
A: Being a custom builder we allow you to choose. We have installed air to air heat pumps, Geo thermal heat pumps (closed loop), propane, oil, outdoor wood stoves, radiant wood and coal stoves.
Q: Are the homeowners allowed to work on the home themselves?
A: Absolutely, at Maverick Homes we will allow you to do anything that saves you money. We have had homeowners, paint, trim, install electric, and many other things.
Q: Can you give me a square foot price for a new home?
A: Home prices depend on the things like the footprint of the home, rooflines, exterior products like stone or brick, heat source, size of home, style of home, kitchen, flooring etc… We have built homes from $80 a square foot to over $150 a square foot.
Q: What is the first step in building a home?
